Crews tackle undergrowth fire close to Brandon

Suffolk and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called at 2.23pm today to reports of a fire at Thetford Forest, close to Brandon.

At 3.30pm Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service reported that four crews were in attendance, with another three ordered to the scene.

Approximately 800sqm of undergrowth is well alight and hose-reel jets and beaters are being used in the incident.

We understand the location to be between Brandon and Santon Downham.
