Men’s Aegon team from Risbygate Sports Club win County Championship
The Risbygate Men’s Aegon Team has become Suffolk County Champions at the first attempt.
The team of Adam Levey, Gary Keens, Nils Klermund, Seb Koci-Edwards and Asa Sumner-Keens, pictured above, won all of their matches and are now through to the playoffs for the National Regional Division. A fantastic result – congratulations!
The second Tennis Section Open Day and Great British Tennis Weekend was held on Saturday, June 3, in beautiful weather.
Paul Hope and Andy Robinson gave free coaching sessions to the juniors and the ball machine saw continuous use from visitors and members alike.
At the final count, the club gained 19 new members. Added to the 8 members from our first Open Day, we have increased our membership by 27 – our best result ever!
