Bike show at Rattlesden raises thousands for hospice
Two-wheeled fundraising has pulled straight into the fast lane for a local hospice.
Rattlesden Bike Show, an annual motorcycle show and family fun day, has raised £4,000 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The event, which took place in Birds Green, Rattlesden was organised by Gary Sainty, his wife Karen, and a team of volunteers.
With hundreds of bikes on show, crowds flocked to the occasion, which was sponsored by Motorspares, and featured music, as well as a great selection of stalls
George Chilvers, hospice community fundraiser, said: “Thank you to Gary, Karen and everyone behind the Rattlesden Bike Show.
“We are so grateful for their support and the fantastic sum of £4,000 really will make a huge difference to our charity as we continue to care for and support those across West Suffolk and Thetford in the final chapters of their lives.”
