Classic cars to debut at the Arc Shopping Centre
To celebrate the new local Classic Car Club of Bury St Edmunds, the Arc Shopping Centre is hosting a Classic Car Show to debut their gorgeous selection of fine cars, dating back as far as the First World War.
You are invited to come and experience the Classic Car collection of the Classic Car Club of Bury St Edmunds on the weekend of September 9 and 10.
Join everyone in Charter Square for cars, competitions and your chance to race in a virtual reality racer. Compete against your friends and family as you go head to head in a race of classic F1 cars.
The Classic Car Club are looking to bring along some true corkers, ranging from pre First World War to the 1970’s. Cars will include MG’s, Lotus’, Jaguars and some from our American friends, including Chevy and Dodge. Keep your eyes peeled to for the very rare, modern classic, Renault Avantime!
The Arc Shopping Centre will also be holding a competition throughout the weekend to win a Radical Race Experience Day, worth over £100, so make sure you enter for your chance to win.
Donations will be made on the day to support Arc’s charity of the year – My WiSH Charity.
Colin Roberts, the centre manager, said: “As a huge classic car enthusiast myself, welcoming the Classic Car Club of Bury St Edmunds along to showcase their huge array of beautiful cars is a dream come true. We have then incorporated this into a weekend of race fun, with our virtual racers, where you can fight for the top spot. We would love for this to become an annual event and hope you all come along to visit the classics of Suffolk.”
