Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds reveals details of lunchtime concerts
The Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds, is to present a series of lunchtime concerts over the coming months, showcasing local talent playing well-known pieces of classical music for a refreshingly musical lunch break.

LOWDELL & WELHAM
Rosie Lowdell (violin) and Rebecca Welham (cello). Talented duo present a virtuosic programme of music by Beethoven, Hofmann and also includes some of their own works.
Monday, October 9, 1.10pm
THE GOLDCREST TRIO
Duke Dobing (flute) Miriam Keogh (harp), and Raphael Hurwitz (viola). Three musicians give a programme of music by Debussy, Ravel, Ibert and Piazzolla.

MARTENOT WAVES
Malcolm Ball (Ondes Martenot) and Peter Humphreys (piano). A special chance to hear the exciting sound of the Ondes Martenot (a highly unusual early electronic instrument invented in 1928) including music from Elgar, Saint-Saëns and Messiaen to renowned film composer James Horner.
