Galton Blackiston cooks live on stage at the Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds

Back by popular demand, there’s an evening of live cooking and entertainment with East Anglia’s leading culinary duo, at the Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds, later this month.

Galton Blackiston is the Michelin-starred chef at the acclaimed Morston Hall Hotel in Norfolk.

With ‘frustrated entertainer’ (and excellent cook) Neil Alston, they are an established team, renowned for their down-to earth manner and ingeniously simple dishes.

A firm TV favourite, Galton has three cookery books, and is about to release his fourth – Hook Line Sinker: A Seafood Cookbook, a collection of recipes created through his lifelong love affair with seafood. Together on stage, Galton and Neil will use locally-produced ingredients in recipes that the audience can go home and cook themselves with the same results. This is a lively interactive and fun evening not to be missed.

Additionally a small number of tickets are available to join Galton and Neil after the show for a drink at a private reception, where you can taste some of their fine cooking. Tickets for this are £15.

This is a fundraising event to support Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds (Registered Charity Number 242977) and takes place on Saturday, September 30.
