Great win for Stowmarket Golf Club in Curry Cup Final
Stowmarket Golf Club won the Curry Cup for the 2nd time on Sunday 17th September when they beat Colne Valley Golf Club at Stowmarket in the Final.
The format is 6 foursome matches in the morning followed by 12 single matches in the afternoon. Stowmarket led 3 ½ to 2 ½ after the foursome matches but increased their lead decisively in the afternoon to storm home by 12 matches to 6. Stowmarket last won the Cup in 2011
