Witness appeal following serious crash in Barnham
Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a road traffic collision on the A134 at Barnham yesterday morning (Tuesday, September 19).
The cyclist, a man in his 50’s, was travelling along Bury Road from Thetford towards Barnham at around 6.35am when he was involved in a collision with a white Mercedes Sprinter van travelling in the same direction.
The cyclist suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident, should contact Sergeant Peter Howlett at Swaffham Roads Policing Unit on 101.
