Man assaulted while walking dog in Brandon Country Park
Police are appealing for witnesses after receiving a report of common assault and threatening behaviour in Brandon.
The incident occurred at around 12.30pm on Sunday, October 22, in Brandon Country Park.
The victim, a man aged in his 60s, was walking his dog when he was approached by a man, a woman and a teenage boy, who used threatening behaviour towards him, with the man pushing him several times.
The suspects, who were all white and walking two pug dogs, are described as follows:
– The man; approximately 5ft 10in tall, stocky build, with stubble. He was wearing a red anorak with the hood up.
– The woman; approximately 5ft 3in tall, with black hair, and wearing a tweed jacket.
– The boy; aged around 16-years-old, and with short hair.
There were a number of other people reported to have been in the park at the time and officers are appealing for any potential witnesses to come forward.
