Appeal following injuries to two people in accident in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that took place in Bury St Edmunds.

 It happened on Friday, December 15, at about 7pm, on Hospital Road at the junction with Conwallis Court.

Two  people, a male and a female, were walking along Hospital Road on a footpath and they had started to cross at the junction with Cornwall Court. As they crossed a vehicle, a grey Vauxhall Astra being driven from Cornwallis Court,  collided with both the pedestrians.

The female, aged in her 60s, suffered a fractured pelvis and the male sustained pain to the arm and neck.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of the vehicle involved should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Bury St Edmunds on 101 quoting CAD number 345 of Friday 15 December.
