Raiders steal charity bottle and box from pub in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a pub in Bury St Edmunds.

The break-in occurred between 6pm and 11pm on Christmas Day at The Black Boy, in Guildhall Street.

At some point between the times stated offender(s) entered through an insecure door and stole a large glass whisky bottle from the bar area which contained a quantity of cash by ripping it off a metal chain. A second empty charity box was also stolen from the rear of the business.
