Dear Zoo to make its stage premiere at the Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds

Author Rod Campbell’s best-selling classic children’s lift-the-flaps book Dear Zoo is being brought to life for the very first time in 2018 with a brilliant new stage production.

The book was first published in 1982 and has sold more than eight million copies worldwide and the new production is kicking off a huge UK tour, landing at the Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds, on Saturday and Sunday, February 17 and 18.

Celebrating 35 years in 2017, Dear Zoo is the story of a child who writes to the zoo asking them to send a pet. Brought to life through child-engaging puppets, original music and lots of audience interaction, the show will appeal to families and children who already love the book as well as serving as a wonderful introduction to those coming to the story for the first time.
