GOLF IN SUFFOLK  – Suffolk Winter Alliance Win for Stowmarket Quartet

On a fine and sunny winters day with a brisk chilly wind and the temperature only just above three degrees, 106 players including one Professional played the Bungay course which was in good condition for the time of year.

The Professional prize was won by Sam Forgan of Stowmarket with a three under par 66.

The team event, any two from four scores to count, was won by the Stowmarket team of Sam Forgan, Ben Forgan, Andrew Forgan and Matt Lockwood with 82 points.
