Woman hurt following accident in Sainsbury’s car park in Bury St Edmunds

Officers are appealing for information following a collision in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident took place in Sainsbury’s car park on Bedingfield Way in the town on Tuesday, January9,  at around 3.30pm.

A collision happened involving a woman pedestrian and a car. Although the vehicle stopped at the location, the driver failed to give their personal details or the vehicle registration.

The woman pedestrian sustained a broken ankle and wrist as a result of the collision.

Witnesses or anybody who has information are asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting reference CAD 422 of 9 January.
