Theatre Royal announce their pantomime for 2018/2019 is Sleeping Beauty

 

The Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds, has today announced their next pantomime is going to be Sleeping Beauty, which is being staged from Friday, November 30, 2018, to Sunday, January 13, 2019.

 

As a new-born baby Princess Aurora was cursed by the evil Fairy Maligna; on the day of her 16th birthday, Aurora will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die.

Will Nanny Fanny, King Edmund and Grub the kitchen boy be able to protect the unsuspecting princess? Will Fairy Fortune find a way to defeat her sister, the wicked Maligna, and what part does the dashing Prince Florin have to play?

Join us in the medieval kingdom of Burytonia for magic, mayhem and more. You’ll meet jousting knights, mythical beasts and even take a journey beneath the earth. Most importantly you’ll discover if love really can conquer all.

Another fabulous in-house production Sleeping Beauty will run for 76 performances including a BSL Interpreted Performance on December 12 and a Relaxed Performance on January 11. For an extra special treat join us for the Gala Performance on December 9.
