Police are linking a series a series of burglaries that took place in Long Melford.
They took place overnight between Thursday and Friday, January 25 and 26.
A beauty lounge on Little St Mary’s was broken into with an untidy search made with the offenders leaving via the back door. It is unclear if any property has been stolen.
A hairdressers on Hall Street was also broken into by smashing a window at the rear of the property with a quantity of cash stolen.
A third incident occurred on Hall Street where the Food Store was broken into with a window smashed and an untidy search made. It is not thought any property has been stolen.
The Jessica Muir Gallery, also on Hall Street, was broken into via the front door, but again it is unclear if anything was stolen.
Finally, on Hall Street an attempted burglary took place at Long Melford opticians. A window pane was smashed but the offender(s) failed to gain entry.
