A car had to swerve to avoid a deer on the A11 this morning which resulted in the vehicle rolling into a roadside bank and injuring two people.
Suffolk police were called to the crash on the Red Lodge bypass, at around 5.35am.
A police spokesman said a black Vauxhall Corsa had swerved to avoid a deer and rolled into a roadside bank.
Firefighters from Mildenhall and Newmarket were called after smoke was seen coming from the car.
Ambulance staff also attended to treat two people who were reported to have suffered minor injuries.
The vehicle had been cleared from the road shortly after 6am.
