Arc Shopping Centre relaunches #ProudToBeFromBury campaign

Following the success of last summer’s bid to find amazing photographs of Bury St Edmunds the Arc Shopping Centre is re-launching its #ProudToBeFromBury campaign.

With Winter in full swing, The Arc is hoping to find some new winter inspired photographs that represent Bury St Edmunds and everyone’s love for it.

The competition will enable people to show and share what they love about living in and visiting Bury St Edmunds.

Beginning on February 1 people will have the chance to snap away and post their favourite places, views, shops, restaurants and events throughout the town on the Arc’s Facebook and Instagram pages, for their chance of winning a prize bundle worth £120!

Entries into the competition will end on February 28 and shoppers will have the chance to vote for their favourite image. The hashtag #proudtobefrombury must be used when entering the competition.

The Arc will also donate £1 for every entry they receive towards their charity of the year, My WiSH, to a maximum of £100 – http://mywishcharity.wsh.nhs.uk/Charity/Home.aspx

Arc Shopping Centre manager Colin Roberts said: “Our new winter version of the competition will allow the local people to really show us what they love about Bury St Edmunds again. With Arc now an important part of the whole Bury St Edmunds shopping and dining experience, we want to find out what people love and give a little something back to the community by supporting My WiSH too.”
