VIDEO: Markets cancelled in Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall, Haverhill and Newmarket

The bad weather forecast has led to the Bury St Edmunds market being cancelled for this coming Saturday.
The borough council issued a statement today saying it was also cancelling the other markets in Haverhill and Mildenhall tomorrow also with Haverhill and Newmarket on Saturday.
A council spokesperson said: “We have taken careful soundings with traders and high street partners and while we are very sorry for any inconvenience, because of the disruption already caused by the extreme weather, and in light of weather forecast, we have decided to cancel the markets we run on Friday and Saturday.
“We know loyal market customers will be disappointed but hope they will be back next week to support our traders.”
