Intimate show set in a library filled with books on stage at the Theatre Royal later this month
Olivier Award nominated Wizard Presents brings best-selling children’s author Michael Morpurgo’s enchanting tale to life, in an intimate show set in a library filled with books.
I Believe In Unicorns is a tale of the power of books, and the bravery of a young boy called Tomas who hates reading and school, until he meets the Unicorn Lady and is at the Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds, from Thursday to Friday, March 29 to 30.
Tomas loves playing outdoors… he hates school, books and being dragged to the library by his mother. But his world is turned upside down the day he meets the Unicorn and the Unicorn Lady and is spellbound by their story.
An enchanting and interactive production suitable for families with children aged 6+ and everyone who loves stories and books. I Believe In Unicorns sparks imagination in both young and old.
The show premiered at Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013 and has now been seen and enjoyed by over 60,000 people, including two hugely successful seasons at Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End, a Christmas season at Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond and as part of Imagine Children’s Festival 2016 at Royal Festival Hall on the Southbank.
