The BBC TV programme “Question Time” is coming to Bury St Edmunds later this month.

And organisers are on the look out for people to take part in the show.

It is being held at The Athenaeum, on Angel Hill, on Thursday, April 26, and those keen to be in the audience quizzing the panel can apply via the website at bbc.co.uk/questiontime or by telephone on 0330 123 9988.

There are approximately 100 people in the audience selected to ensure political balance.

The panel members are yet to be announced but David Dimbleby, who has been presenting the programme since 1994, said: “I am very much looking forward to bringing Question Time to Bury St Edmunds for the first time. What really matters is that we have a lively audience who want to speak their mind. It’s a chance for people in Bury St Edmunds to get their voice heard not just by politicians, but right across the UK.”
