An Oriental restaurant in Bury St Edmunds town centre is preparing to offer Sushi for the first time when it re-opens on Tuesday with a brand new look.
Calvin Pun took over 513 on Cornhill around 15 months ago and in the last couple of weeks it’s been undergoing a full refurbishment.
Calvin said: “We’ve given the restaurant a complete refit from the front door, through to the kitchens. We re-open at lunchtime on Tuesday, May 22, with a small celebration and I’m looking forward to welcoming old and new customers, who I hope will like our new look and new men
The restaurant will be open from Tuesdays to Sundays both lunchtimes and evenings offering a buffet menu, including Sushi in the evenings only. It can seat up to 120 customers.
Mark Cordell, chief executive of the Business Improvement District Our Bury St Edmunds, has welcomed the restaurant’s new venture.
He said: “This is a great addition to the Our Bury St Edmunds dining offer and the Sushi dishes will be another style of cuisine available in the town, which is now becoming established as something of a foodie destination. The premises look extremely smart with all the improvements that have been made and I wish Calvin and his team at 513 every success.”
513 is situated at 3-4 Cornhill (the entrance is in Woolhall Street) and reservations can be made on 01284 755912. More information can be found at 513restaurant.com
