Countdown now on to next week’s Suffolk Show

 

This year’s Suffolk Show is just around the corner, with lots of new attractions, unique shopping opportunities and free have-a-go activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The two-day event will be held at Trinity Park, in Ipswich, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 30 and 31.

Highlights for the Suffolk Show 2018 include the incredible Bolddog Lings who will be wowing crowds with their thrilling, high-energy motorbike stunt show in the Grand Ring. There’s also plenty of free have-a-go activities for all ages in the Military Zone, Sports Village and Suffolk Skills Zone.

The Suffolk Show also offers an unrivalled shopping experience with local brands and boutique designers that won’t be found on the high street. Refresh your wardrobe with fabulous fashion on Fifth Avenue, or give your home a makeover with bespoke furnishings in the Lifestyle Pavilion and unique local paintings in the Art Show.

This year’s Suffolk Show is a foodie heaven with the biggest ever Food Hall, packed with delicious artisan food and drink for visitors to try and buy. The Greene King Eat Street is a popular area to pick up a tasty treat, or enjoy a picnic lunch on the sand at the Adnams Beach Eats area.

There will be even more attractions for animal-lovers at the show this year, with opportunities to meet the Suffolk Punch horse and find out more about this critically endangered breed in the new Heavy Horse area. There’s also prize-winning Red Poll cattle, Suffolk Sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens and racing ferrets to look out for!

Tickets for this year’s Suffolk Show are now on sale – save by purchasing in advance. Children aged under 15 will once again receive free entry.

The Suffolk Show is run and managed by the Suffolk Agricultural Association. As a charity, the SAA’s core purpose is to promote the importance of food, farming and the countryside to the economy and character of Suffolk through the Suffolk Show.
