Organisers are preparing for another entertainment packed Euston Rural Pastimes country fair, showcasing crafts, animals and country skills.
The annual event, at Euston Park from 10am on Sunday, June 10, will not only include three arena rings and many popular returning attractions, but also a qualifying event for the Great Britain Ridden Heavy Horse Championships.
Also in the line-up this year are Bolddog Lings, Honda’s official and the UK’s number one motorcycle display team. The show features the UK’s top ranked freestyle motocross riders, incorporating the latest heart stopping tricks.
Chris Fogden, the chairman of the organising committee, said: “This year’s Rural Pastimes event as ever, has a huge range of attractions and displays to appeal to all the family. The star attraction will be Bolddog Lings FMX display team.”
The Sheep Show will return once again, to stage entertaining and humorous demonstrations in shearing throughout the day, while there will also be a gun dog scurry, heavy horses, the chance to sail a coracle and displays of classic cars, steam engines, motorcycles, model aircraft and dog shows, as well as activities to entertain the children.
St Genevieve’s Church, will also be hosting a flower festival along the theme of favourite musicals,while there will also be a crafts area with demonstrations and trade stalls.
All proceeds from the event will be split between St Nicholas Hospice Care and local good causes.

On-the-gate tickets cost £10 adults, under 12s £5, under-fives free. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome on the showground.
