A Bury St Edmunds based company has received a business boost from retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.
Last week, Denise Winder and Heidi Franklin, owners of Wild Play Ltd, tweeted Theo about their Outdoor Learning & Forest School business during “Small Business Sunday” and were selected as one of six weekly winners by Theo gaining a retweet to his 500,000 followers.
The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, who is also a panelist on the BBC TV programme “Dragon’s Den”, has over 2,200 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.
Wild Play Ltdwill be profiled on the #SBS website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) that is exclusive to all “Small Business Sunday” winners and they will have the opportunity to attend Theo’s celebration event in February.
Wild Play Ltd offers a range of services including work with charity and community groups, children’s parties, working with schools, holiday clubs and they are about to launch “Feel Good” corporate days.
Denise: said, “We ran our very first session back in April so we’ve only been operating a few months. The support and feedback we’ve received from all elements of the business has been incredibly positive; we couldn’t have wished for a better start.”
And Heidi added: “It’s great to have support from Theo because being an SBS Winner recognises all of the hard work that goes in to setting up a new business and helps to spread the word about what we do to his followers and business network.”
