IN TUNE the Ukulele Club at Risbygate Sports Club hits all the right notes

See the latest video published on You Tube to show how the players have developed their Ukulele skills over the past two years playing Rocking All Over The World, Ob La-Di Ob La-Da and You are my Sunshine at their recent Sunday Funday and serenading the walkers in the “Walk for Life” raising money for the St Nicholas Hospice recently.

The Ukulele club first met for a trial run in April 2016 at the sports club and started regular Tuesday meetings in May 2016 when a handful of people took up an invitation to learn how to play the Ukulele in a friendly relaxed manner with easy to follow tuition.

They now have in excess of thirty people registered and attend every Tuesday evening with a varied array of ability and some of which have learnt to be very proficient players and with music covering a wide range including, Neil Diamond, Buddy Holly, Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley, Fats Domino, Ricky Nelson, John Denver, Little Eva, Olivia Newton-John and many more.
