Second person arrested in connection with stabbing in Needham Market

Police investigating a stabbing in Needham Market on Saturday, October 19, have arrested a second person in connection with the incident.
Officers were called at 6.10am to reports of a woman, aged in her 30s, being stabbed in Quinton Road.
A male, aged 16, was arrested yesterday in the London area (Sunday, October 20) on suspicion of attempted murder.
A man, aged in his 50s, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Saturday evening was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was released on police bail last night (Sunday, October 20) until November 14, pending further enquiries.
The victim has been transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, from West Suffolk Hospital and remains in a stable condition following an operation.
