Family victims of racially aggravated attack

A family has allegedly been the recipients of a racially aggravated attack by a man in Bury St Edmunds

The incident took place at around 12.20pm on Monday, October 28, while the family was walking from McDonald’s, in Cornhill, towards the Arc Shopping Centre.

Police officers attended and a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public order offences. He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre and released to answer bail on November 19.

Officers are trying to trace the family involved in the incident.
