Find out more about volunteering at open morning
An open morning aims to encourage people to find out a little bit more about volunteering for a local charity.
St Nicholas Hospice Care is on the lookout for people willing to help out at its Donation Centre and will be holding an open morning to give people a taste of the roles available of and a chance to ask questions.
Anyone who is interested in finding out more is welcome to come along to the open morning on Thursday, November 14, which will take place from 10am to noon at the charity’s warehouse in Chapel Pond Hill, Bury St Edmunds.
The Donation Centre is the hospice’s warehouse and homes many of the goods donated to the charity.
Throughout the morning, current volunteers will be on hand to share their experiences, and members of the warehouse team will be there too. Those who come along will also be able to tour the building and there will be refreshments.
