Pedestrian hurt after being involved in collision with bus
A pedestrian has been hurt after she was involved in a collision with a bus in Newmarket.
Police officers were called shortly after 3.40pm today, Thursday, November 7, following reports of the collision on Exning Road, close to Elizabeth Avenue.
Emergency services attended the scene and the pedestrian, a young female, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, by ambulance after sustaining injuries that were not deemed to life-threatening but may be life-changing.
Exning Road remains closed while recovery of the bus and an investigation takes place.
