The Friends of Seckford Educational Trust’s Ixworth School’s annual Christmas Fair is being held on Friday, December 6, at the school from 6pm to 8pm.
There will be a huge variety of Christmas gift and food stalls, a very special visit from Santa, refreshments, raffle, cakes and confectionery.
The school held a Service of Remembrance on Armistice Day, led by chairman of Ixworth Parish Council, Ben Lord.
Members of the local branch of the Royal British Legion attended and students created poppy tributes adorned with poetry and a wreath was laid in honour of the fallen.
A number of children have attended the school’s Transition events and Drop-in Sessions. With themes based around the new curriculum they cover a broad range of subjects to give a good feel for the school.
