Police name woman found dead at Little Stonham pub

A 45-year-old woman who died following a party in Little Stonham at the weekend is being named by police as Irena Kuzmina, from Purfleet, in Essex.

Officers were called to the Magpie Inn,on Norwich Road, by the ambulance service just before 3.30am on Sunday, November 10.  

A woman was reported to be unresponsive and was receiving treatment from paramedics, but sadly died at the scene at short time later.

Pending formal Coroner’s inquest proceedings, the deceased has been identified as Irena Kuzmina.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Irena’s death. A Home Office Post Mortem examination was inconclusive and further tests are required.

A 52-year-old woman from Dagenham was arrested on suspicion of murder by officers at the scene of the incident on Sunday morning.

She was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and released on bail until Sunday, December 8, pending further enquires.
