Fail to stop incident still being investigated by police

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop incident that took place at Needham Market.

It took place when a male, aged in his 60s was in collision with a vehicle on Barretts Lane on Sunday, November 10, and the victim is believed to have suffered a broken hip.

A 45-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of failing a breath test and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and released under investigation.

Officers are still appealing for witnesses – anyone with information is asked to contact Stowmarket police, quoting crime reference 37/68132/19.
