Electrical cable stolen from site in Acton

Raiders have stolen a large quantity of electrical cable from a site in Acton.

The incident took place last night, Tuesday, December 3, in a rural location on Acton Lane between Sudbury and Acton.

Sometime between 8pm and 1130pm offenders gained access to two manholes and cut the cabling before using a vehicle to pull it out to a nearby field and then further cutting it into sections.

Officers are appealing for anybody who may have seen offender/s using power tools, vehicle/s parked on the side of Acton Road or any suspicious activity during the relevant time above to contact police quoting reference 73102/19 via
