GOLF IN SUFFOLK: Latest Winter Alliance Results
Flempton Results – Sunday 19th January 2020
Winners at Flempton Left to Right Kenton Jameson & Glynn Clouting both of Stowmarket.
After a hard overnight frost, 47 players enjoyed the Flempton course. From the scores, the majority scored well on the first time around when the ground and greens were very hard and bouncy, by the time players were on their second nine the frost was clearing and the sky was clear blue and free of clouds.
The winners of the Four Ball Better Ball Stableford on countback, were Kenton Jameson and Glyn Clouting of Stowmarket with 41 points.

Bungay and Waveney Results – Sunday 5th January 2020

Bungay was in fine condition according to the players who enjoyed playing in this first Alliance of 2020.
115 players including three Professionals played on a day when a keen wind made the temperature a little on the low side, but this did not seem to affect one team from Seckford who managed to get 88 points.
The Professional prize was won by Sam Forgan of Stowmarket with a two over par score of 71.
