Business proves their worth by raising much-needed funds for charity

A firm has dug deep all in the name of charity as a year of fundraising results in more than £1,300 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Having picked the hospice, which cares for those across the area living with dying, death and grief as their chosen charity for 2019, Stowmarket-based business Timberwolf has handed over £1,377.99 to the charity.

Chris Perry, managing director Timberwolf Ltd, said: “At Timberwolf we have been proud to support St Nicholas Hospice Care over the past year as our chosen charity.

“Not only has it meant raising money for a great local cause but has also helped to bring our employees together, with a company BBQ, tuck-shop and even a monthly lottery.

“We hope our contribution helps St Nicholas Hospice Care to continue to provide their essential services in the local community.”

The firm also supported the hospice by taking part in its summer-long fundraiser for businesses – The Accumulator Challenge, and supported its Paws in the Park event.

Rachel Card, St Nicholas Hospice Care’s corporate fundraiser, said: “Timberwolf really have packed a lot into their year of fundraising for us. I am so pleased they picked St Nicholas Hospice Care as chosen charity for 2019.

“The money they have raised will make a big difference to us and the people we care for, and they have also helped create so much awareness for the hospice among their staff and their families.

“Thank you Timberwolf for all of your efforts.”
