Four mile queue of traffic following crash on A14
Three cars were involved in a collision on the A14 which closed the road earlier this morning.
The accident took place on the Bury St Edmunds-bound carriageway close to junction 46 at Beyton Green with traffic tailing back as far as junction 47 at Elmswell with queues four miles long and causing delays of up to 20 minutes.
Suffolk Constabulary responded to the incident at around 8am which involved an Alfa Romeo a Suzuki and a Ford Fiesta.
The carriageway was temporarily closed as motorists reported delays heading west.
Police confirmed there were no injuries reported from the incident and the road was cleared by around 9.25am.
