Motorist parked up in lay-by on A14 attacked and robbed of his wallet

A motorist parked in a layby on the A14 between Stowmarket and Needham Market has been assaulted and had his wallet stolen.
The incident took place shortly after 4pm yesterday, Saturday, February 29, after the victim stopped his white Ford Transit van on the westbound carriageway.
The suspect is described as being a white male around 6ft tall with a stocky build wearing a dark coloured baseball cap, black hooded top and black trousers. He was driving a white or grey coloured van.
Police are appealing for witnesses who were travelling on the A14 between Needham Market and Stowmarket at approximately 4pm on 29/02/20, who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage to contact Bury St Edmunds CID quoting crime reference 37/12865/20.
