Bury St Edmunds rickshaw operating deliveries to people self-isolating
Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw has stopped passenger rides for the time being, but the charity’s volunteer riders are still pedalling round town to help other people.
The rickshaw is operating as a cargo bike, doing deliveries of food and essentials to people who are self-isolating and can’t get out to the shops.
Trustee Libby Ranzetta said: “We know that the supermarkets can’t offer delivery slots for three or four weeks at the moment, so people are worried about how to get their supplies. We are happy to deliver Click and Collect orders anywhere in town for self-isolators, free of charge thanks to our wonderful volunteers.”
To request a delivery, call the Rickshaw on 01284 339449.
