A man is due in court today, Monday, April 13, after being arrested for being in possession of an imitation firearm.
It comes following an incident at around 7.40pm, Saturday, April 11, when police received a report of a man carrying a firearm on Station Road, in Stowmarket.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of being in possession of imitation firearms. He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
David Heath, 41, of Lime Tree Place, was yesterday charged with two counts of possession an imitation firearm with intent.
He was remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court today at 10am.
