Runner bitten by Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type of dog

A dog has attacked a man who was out running in Sudbury.

It took place at about 6.15pm, on Friday, July 31, on Quay Lane, in Ballingdon.

The victim saw a boy, thought to be about 12-years-old, with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog that was white and had brown patches.

The dog then bit the victim, a man aged in his late 40s. After the attack the boy ran off and no details were obtained. The male needed medical treatment for the injury.
