A pedal cyclist has been hurt following a collision in Great Barton, today, Tuesday, August 3.
It happened at about 2.35pm between a blue Ford Ka and the cyclist on Fornham Road.
Police, ambulance and the air ambulance attended the scene and the road was closed until just before 5pm whilst an initial investigation took place into the circumstances.
The male pedal cyclist, aged in his 70s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, via land ambulance with a serious head injury.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or seen the manner of driving of the vehicle moments before the collision or anyone with dash cam footage.of the incident.
