A person has been hurt following an explosion at a pub near Stowmarket rail station last night, Saturday, August 22.
Police were called at 8.20pm after a gas canister in a mobile catering van exploded at the Kings Arms pub, in Station Road.
Firefighters and paramedics also attended the scene.
A police and fire cordon was put in place and members of the public were asked to avoid the area.
A police spokesman said: “At least one person is believed to have suffered injuries, however these are no longer believed to be serious.”
The train station was evacuated but has reopened and trains were running.
