Raiders use cement slab to raid Boots store in Haverhill twice in three days

Raiders have struck twice in a matter of three days at the same location in Suffolk using a cement slab to gain access of both occasions.

The first incident took place on Monday, October 19, at about 10.25pm, when offender(s) used a cement slab to force entry into Boots, on the High Street, in Haverhill.

They smashed the lower glass pane of the front door and stole various items including perfume.

The second incident took place at 1.45am on Wednesday, October 21, when offender(s) again used a cement slab to force entry into the store by smashing a glass door and stole various items including perfume and electrical items.

Enquiries are on-going including the studying CCTV footage and conducting forensic investigations.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on either occasion or has knowledge of who was responsible should contact Bury St Edmunds CID quoting the relevant crime number.
