They are said to be students from the senior school section and all the pupils in the Fourth Form have been told to isolate.

Julian Johnson-Munday, the headmaster, is reported to have relayed a message to parents which said: “We have contacted Public Health England and, in the meantime, we have begun our track and trace procedure and are organising a deep clean of key areas.

“All pupils in Fourth Form must isolate until we receive further clarification from Public Health England.

“All Senior School pupils will remain in tutor groups for online learning until the track and trace procedure and relevant deep cleaning has been completed.”
