Two hurt after car collides with sign leading to road closure

Two people have been seriously injured following a single vehicle collision at Beck Row.

Officers were called to the scene on the A1101 at 3.32am today (Thursday, January 7) following reports that a car had collided with road signage.

The incident was attended by a volunteer SARS paramedic, fire and ambulance.

Two people have been transported to Addenbrookes’ Hospital, in Cambridge, by ambulance with serious injuries.

The road has been closed in both directions next to RAF Mildenhall. 

The closures are at the Holywell Row roundabout, and by the entrance to RAF Mildenhall. The base can still be accessed via the Beck Row direction.
