Man arrested after police raid uncovers £3,000 worth of heroin

A man has been arrested after a police raid uncovered £3,000 worth of heroin.

The arrest was made yesterday (Monday, January 25) after officers conducted a drug warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property on Station Road, in Sudbury..

Police reported that they recovered approximately £3,000 worth of suspected heroin from the premises.

A 53-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and he was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was released under investigation pending further enquiries.
