Three hurt after two cars collide in Tuddenham

Three people have been hurt following a road traffic collision that took place in Tuddenham.

It happened on Saturday, February 6, at about 2pm, on Higham Road.

A black Mercedes C Class, traveling from Tuddenham towards the A14 and a black Ford Focus travelling from the A14 towards Tuddenham were in collision.

The occupants of the Mercedes, a man and a woman, sustained injuries. The male – a broken leg and ankle – while the woman also sustained a broken ankle.

The driver of the Ford sustained a broken ankle and damaged spleen. They were all taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, by land ambulance for treatment. The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) also attended the incident.

Anyone who saw the collision or the manner of driving of any of the vehicles should contact Suffolk police quoting CAD reference 192 of February 6.
