Woman passenger dies after being involved in accident at Tuddenham

A woman injured in a road traffic collision that took place at Tuddenham has died.

It happened on Saturday, February 6, at about 2pm, on Higham Road.

A black Mercedes C Class, travelling from Tuddenham towards the A14 and a black Ford Focus travelling from the A14 towards Tuddenham were in collision.

The occupants of the Mercedes, a man and a woman, sustained injuries. They were all taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, by ambulance for treatment. Two other casualties involved remain in hospital.

Suffolk Police said that the female who a passenger in the Mercedes died on Wednesday, February 10.

The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) also attended the incident.

Police are still appealing for witnesses  and anyone who saw the collision or the manner of driving of any of the vehicles should contact Suffolk police quoting CAD reference 192 of 6 February 2021.
