Residents in Suffolk invited to nominate good causes to receive support from Taylor Wimpey

Almost a year since the first lockdown began,  Bury St Edmunds based developer Taylor Wimpey East Anglia has launched their Community Chest competition, which offers the chance to win a £1,000 grand prize. The housebuilder is now inviting those living in Suffolk to nominate local groups, organisations or individuals they think are most deserving of a helping hand.

Be it a contribution towards some much needed new equipment, a personal fundraising challenge, or anything in between, Taylor Wimpey wants to hear from you. Local residents can submit their suggestions by emailing the name of the nominee, along with a brief description of why they have been nominated, to BuiltForSuffolk@taylorwimpey-pr.co.uk

All nominations will need to be received by Friday 26th March and only one email per person will be counted. Taylor Wimpey East Anglia will then select the group, organisation or individual who is their winner for Suffolk and they will be awarded the £1,000 donation.

Caroline Carter, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “We are always proud to support the local communities in which we build, but this year it has been more important than ever. We want to help those who are going above and beyond to make a difference. If you know of a worthy cause in your area, we would love to hear about them.

“I’d like to wish all of our nominees the best of luck. We look forward to receiving your nominations and announcing the winner in April 2021.”
